Did You Choose a New Year’s Diet Plan?
By: Jerry O'Donnell
Just about everyone agrees that if one is overweight, one is on the path to an early grave in one form or another. At the very least, the last part of the life will require frequent medical attention.
With that in mind, we have compiled an eighteen point program that allows you to eat what you want and still lose weight. You can even lose weight before adding exercise to the daily routine.
Now we are not going to provide all eighteen points. That is what the class is for. We will teach you at least one point, of how it can be possible to lose weight while eating the same food.
But before we continue, we should point out that you should always contact your doctor for changes you make in your dieting. We are not doctors nor nutritionists, however, what we have compiled is from a nutrition expert.
With her permission, we present the following information.
First, the best way to lose weight and live a longer and healthier life is to watch what you eat and exercise appropriately.
But let us face the facts, most personal exercise programs last only a few times and then people return to eating whatever they want, creating a yo-yo diet.
But here is something you can do to help lose weight, and you can still be part of any health program you desire.
You simply need to change HOW you eat, and we are not talking simply the quantity.
Here is the first point and your grandmother has told you about it and it is true. Chew your food on average of fifty (50) times until it becomes a cream in your mouth. Swallowing food that is not thoroughly chewed causes the body to not digest it properly and eventually it turns into body fat.
A second point is to not skip breakfast. Digestion does not begin until you have your first meal of the day. So if you think skipping a meal will help you lose weight, do not skip breakfast.

How to Benefit from the Mind-Body Connection
(excerpt)
You are about to gain insight into the
mind-body connection. The number of
people who truly understand these principles on our
planet are relatively few.
There is an undeniable connection between our minds and
bodies, you can learn to use this fact to your benefit.
Dr. Bernie Siegel, author of "Love, Medicine and
Miracles" was once a distraught cancer surgeon until he
began to understand the greater principles of the mind-
body connection. He felt dragged down by the artificial
barriers that existed between patient and doctor, and the
helplessness he often felt as a result of his inability
to effectively serve those patients. Eventually, those
barriers were disintegrated by Dr. Siegel's recognition
and growing understanding of the mind-body connection and
how it could serve his patients and himself.
Dr. Siegel, or Bernie as he began to have his patients
refer to him, had some
startling realizations as a cancer surgeon. He found that
there were actually
quite a few people in the world that successfully beat
the statistics on cancer
survival. He began to recognize that a patient's ability
to defeat something as
serious as cancer had to do with the patient's mind and
attitude about their
disease.
